Ian Young's debut novel, The Automaton, won the 2023 Best Indie Book Award (BIBA) for science fiction, and is a Book Readers Appreciation Group (indieBRAG) medallion honoree. His follow up, Ashen Light, is also an indieBRAG medallion honoree and a Readers' Choice 5-Star Read. In 2025, Ian teamed up with Upscale Games to write their first novella set in the SCALE: Rise of Dragons universe. When he's not writing, you can find him gaming, reading comics, and playing boardgames with his kids.
